As was promised in the weather reports for the past several days, we did indeed have thundershowers today. Well, now that I think of it, I never heard thunder. We DID have a few very heavy rains, though. |

Deere John came back yesterday to spend the weekend with us. Richard fired him up this afternoon to work at redistributing the last load of dirt that threatened to leave in the rainstorms of a week ago. |

Homecoming at the high school is today. We made a big "to-do" over homecoming when I was in high school, but not like the kids around here make these days. I got up at 5:00 with Stephen to assist with his hair. |

It is with much grief and sadness that I blog this one. Clinton, Stephen's birth father, and my ex-husband, has unfortunately been diagnosed with Alpha-1 related emphysema - a hereditary form of emphysema. |
