I should hate to admit this, but I will admit to it, as it is true. We eagerly awaited the 11:00 am EST time frame to view the Bill Gates/Microsoft presentation online of the new Microsoft Office 2003 family of products. Eagerly? OK, yes, we're a bit obsessive at times. Rarely compulsive, but... whatEVER...
At around 11:10 am EST, the online "slightly after" REAL time presentation began. We watched, eagerly, and watched, and watched, and... Well, FINALLY, after the 1-1/2 hour program was NEAR finish... I'd say probably FIVE minutes from the end? Bill Gates FINALLY said the word "FrontPage." That was it. It was merely a "sideline" to what could be accomplished in web publishing on a SharePoint site with the FrontPage product.
No bells and whistles, nothing about the vast improvements, simply sloughed off into the background. How geeky am I????? Well, instead of feeling deprived, I said, "YAY!!!!!!!!! He mentioned FrontPage!!!!!!!!!!"... Think about THAT one for awhile. *LOL*
We had our post-op visit with the doctor today after Stephen's tonsillectomy; GREAT NEWS - he is in wonderful shape and released to face the world! Turns out, the biopsy DID show an abscess so the removal was the ONLY way to bring him back into normality (as much as can be for Stephen)...
After we got home from the doctor's office, Kristen accidentally (truly. but she IS a klutz) knocked over a FULL coffee cup on our work station table, totally disabling my FP2003 laptop and Richard's regular laptop. We're still working to put the computers back in working order (hopefully, that is possible... argggggghhhhhhhh....
